STEERING and EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The Steering Committee, which guides and oversees GAIN, consists of NIH and non-NIH scientists, private partner representatives, and a public member.  Led by a five-member Executive Committee representing lead project partners, the Steering Committee forwards recommendations to the FNIH’s Board of Directors for final approval.  The Steering Committee meets quarterly.  The Executive Committee meets and communicates frequently on a schedule determined by its members.
